@Sera Kay ✨ aww poor baby🙁 it’s sometimes hard with a newborn sleep deprived and juggling so many other things we don’t have the same time we used to for our pets. I still maintain him hygiene and feedings but my attention isn’t 100% on him anymore so it’s understandable
We got her when I was pregnant so I was home all the time with her and trained her so she was literally my lap dog and once I had baby my focus shifted but my daughter took her on and they got so close which has been great! My partner and daughter are amazing with her but I’m home alone during the week most days and I can’t walk her with the baby cos she pulls too much so just not getting her usual daily attention
@Sera Kay ✨ omg I got my cat when I was pregnant too bc I felt so lonely and I left my 3 year old cat at my moms bc he was used to his environment there but it was between a dog and a cat but I know dogs require more attention and physical activity so I just went with another cat but I think he’s just a bit jealous now that he doesn’t have my attention 100%
My mom said that cats can get really jealous or protective of their owner around a new baby. She said when I was born, their cat was really upset by it. After a while, the cat realized I was there to stay, and she warmed up and got used to the adjustment. It may just take some time. Good luck!
My 6 month old French bulldog is peeing all over the place even though she’s toilet trained 🫠 my baby is 11 weeks old and she started this the past week. My partner thinks she is jealous/not getting enough attention
