I wouldn’t worry as long as baby is back to birth weight/on target for their age, baby should wake up if they’re hungry, every child is different and some can go longer without a feed.
If my baby is sleeping for 4/5 hours there's no way I'm waking him up!! Mines 3 week old tomorrow and normally he wakes every 3/3.5 hours for feeding but if he stays asleep I just leave him to it.. He will wake when he's hungry, and sleep for us mumas and papas is so important right now too so whenever we can get it I take it. As long as he has 8 bottles in the 24 hr period I try not to take the ' 3 hour rule' too seriously x
Mine doesn’t always wake for feeds but isn’t at her birth weight so I have to wake her, I wake her every 4 hours It basically just depends if your baby is back to their birth weight, you can let them sleep if they are xx
I only wake him during the day now: mostly wakes up ready for his fed every 3 hours or so. If he doesn’t I will wake him. But nighttime I leave him and let him wake me for a bottle x
Is baby back at birth weight now? If so, no need to wake for feeds anymore as they will naturally wake when hungry x
@Terri may I ask if you’re formula or breast feeding? My son will be 3 weeks on Monday and the past week he will not nap unless it’s contact and don’t get me started with nights 🥲 any advice would be appreciated
Between 45min to 3h
