he looks half black half white to me 🤷♀️ i’m the same mix myself
He’s beautiful 🥰 I don’t think he looks white, you can tell he’s mixed
My husband is a quarter black and a quarter white, I’m a quarter Mexican and 75% white, My son is starting to get darker though, he’s almost 3! So I would just give it time :) we both have dark features but my son came out with light skin and blue eyes😂 takes after maternal side on both. Crazy how genetics work.
My daughter is exactly the same and in the bath she looks darker. Shes also half Nigerian
Yes looks mixed race to me
Yes our son is half white and half Caribbean and he’s very light skinned
@Paige yes! In the bath he looks soooo dark but then he comes out the bath same colour as me 😂
I’m half white, half Nigerian and I was waayyy lighter than that . Still pretty light complexion ( more of a caramel/yellow colour)
You can deffo tell he’s mixed.. my sons half white 1/4 Nigerian 1/4 Jamaican and he’s WHITE 😂😂 he has no colour at all
I'm half white and half trini and I can tell he's mixed. Just wait til he tans up he'll keep some of the colour and may even darken a bit as he gets older
My daughter is really really white like me, but her dad is Caribbean. I think the skin of your son is a typical „mixed“ skin :)
My baby is half white half brown but only when you put him next to 100% white kids do you notice he’s darker. White babies are prooooper white 🤭 they also get darker as they grow older
This is the life of being mixed 😩😂my mum is black Jamaican and my dad is half Welsh half Jamaican. I was WHITE when I was a baby then I went brown skinned until I was in my teens, now I’m lighter again. Sometimes it depends on not just the parents’ DNA but the grandparents as well
@Sharnee omg your son could be my nephew😳 like they look like twins

That’s a biracial baby. He does not look fully white 😂 I am biracial as well, I looked lighter as a baby, even fully black babies do. It can take six months or longer for their color to really start coming in.
Thank you guys, me and my husband are just pretty sick of the comments about how white he is since his dad is very dark 😅
@Elle I completely understand that comment the looks we get when my partner has hold of our daughter is disgusting.
It’s like people try and insinuate that you’ve cheated.
@Paige yes! It’s so annoying… our son looks a lot like me and is closer to my colour than his dads but that man is 1000% his dad 😂 just can’t wait for him to toast up a little just so then people will chill out 😂
I’m a similar mix and light, it happens 🤷🏻♀️
My daughter is half white and African American. She looks close to your babies skin tone. 🙂
My boy is half pakistani, half white. He is very light skinned and could pass for full white.
He doesn’t look white at all😂
@keazia 😂 which one the one who like to pinch my shoes or my blue eyed babe?
Doesn’t look white at all. Looks like a mixed (half black with something else) child
None of the children's photos I've seen would I assume we're white in the slightest.
Ohhhh I can tell he’s mixed immediately. He might be lighter but that’s not white skin and a closer look I can see Nigerian features. People who’ve gotten it wrong know nothing
I’m mixed like white black and native. Growing up I was really pale then I got dark later on. However you should try to tell people to not comment on his skin. That’s my only advice to you. For instance, when I was little, I had a lot of comments when I started to get dark from my family. It actually made me want to go in bleach. When people comment about his skin being light just say that he’s a baby and his skin tone is beautiful no matter what shade it is.
Like I know I still look light but I was dark and bleached for years just because around 11 I had a cousin comment on my skin negative. I also completely understand your frustration when people comment about your child appearance. I actually married a white man so my kids are very pale. The other one isn’t you can tell that he’s got some mixed stuff in him. However, my first son people have asked me if I’m his nanny or Latinas in the neighborhood have commented on how pale and white he is and looked me up and down. It’s really pissed me off before. I’ve politely told him that I am his mom and that his father is white so that is why he might be pale right now. For real people have the nerve!!

are you disappointed or something that he’s not more tanned? Does it matter that he looks more Caucasian
You can tell he’s mixed and his colour will come over the years
@Rhyana not disappointed at all, he is beautiful and I love him with all my heart but after weeks and weeks of comments about how white he is compared to his dad and being told he doesn’t look like a “normal” mixed race child I wanted to get some other opinions from people who actually have mixed race children
@Elle People still make comments to me about how light I am and asking stupid questions, even if I’m stood right next to my black mum and I’m 28 🤣 Don’t pay any attention to it love. People are very weird x
He looks perfect mama ❤️, I know this is coming from a place of love. He will be compared to dad and u over the years, but the best thing is to ignore those negative comments and teach him that he is beautiful no matter what skin tone he has ❤️.
He looks very light but he doesn't look fully white. As he grows his Nigerian features should show more. If not then that's ok. It's how genetics work. They can take after one parent mostly
