Omg I’ve been in my apartment for 3 Years in December I’ve never had any problems but now all of a sudden my apartment has been nice infested I am 7 months pregnant & I have a busy 9 month old , I’ve told my landlord and she says it’s “ nothing they can do “ about it I just need to put traps down & it’s getting cold outside so it’s normal , NOOOOOOP ITS FUCKIN NOT , like they’re every fuckin where I’m terrified!!!!’ They’re out all hours of the day and scratching up my walls , I even caught one on my fuckin countertop YESTERDAY like I don’t know what to do anymore I’m fuckin loosin it . I’m single with no help from My bd not even my mom will Help like I feel like I’m such a bad mom for having my baby here but we have nowhere to even go 🥺 what should I do?

Not to mention I just ordered a new couch getting delivered Monday afternoon 😐🥺 I am defeated so bad rn

We had them in our garage, and they were sneaking into our house at night. If you see them during the day, they are definitely having a party at night. You want to try and get rid of them, since their poo can carry disease. We had an exterminator come, but all they did is leave traps out and advise one some ways they might be getting in. So look for any holes they could be coming in from, and you can just spray foam the hole. It's not the prettiest, but it's cheap and if your landlord isn't going to do anything... Then buy some mouse traps, also cheap and easy to learn how to use. Bait them with peanut butter and put them where kids and pets can't get them, like in cabinets and under heavy appliances. Get emotionally ready to throw away a lot of dead mice, but if you successfully seal the holes they're using, they will eventually stop.
