My son accepts any medicine if I give it in a calpol syringe so maybe if that’s the case for your daughter food colouring to make it pink and using a syringe might work. Good luck 🤞
We put ours in either a little pot of fromage frais or a yoghurt drink and he took it no problems then but off a spoon was absolute no chance for us x
Thanks ladies! Maybe I’ll give the yoghurt a try! She won’t even have calpol but does like nurofen but the penicillin we’ve got is bright red 🤦🏻♀️x
My girl wouldn’t take it either, gaged and threw it up each time. Stressed me and her out. So i called them and they changed it to amoxicillin the banana one which she likes the taste of and takes it off the spoon! Hope she feels better soon! X
I found using a syringe and squirting it into the side of the cheek works for all of mine x
Omg same. I've put it in his wheatabix for breakfast or a yogurt for tea but the other 2 doses have been hell and he's thrown it up twice. I'm stressed. I'll ring the pharmacy!
Try to use a syringe and just put it in the side of her mouth , my lil one likes calpol and so I am using that syringe for when I need to give him antibiotics and it usually works, he does say that is bad after but at least he takes it
Update: I spoke with the doc and they changed the antibiotic, so it was thicker and tasted slightly better. He's not thrown it up, it's still unpleasant to give to him but it's so much quicker and easier!
We had to mix with yogurt
