I’m super lazy and disorganised sometimes so probably around 35 weeks x
@Eli that’s a good idea, take it nice and slow! I bet we still forget something though if you’re anything like me🤣🤦🏻♀️ he best get washing then! Haha. I’m thinking of getting bits washed soon so that’s one less thing to worry about x
@Naomi omg the thought of leaving it until then panics me🤣 I’m being induced at 38 weeks and I’m faffing already I still have 10 weeks to go haha x
My bag has been packed for a while as I'm at high risk for an early labour. I've just started sorting through the baby's stuff this week and washing things like cot sheets, moses basket fabrics and the car seat covers.
@Kas honestly, I defo will forgot something but I’m hoping if I forget it it wouldn’t be the most important thing and I could possibly live without it if I leave so much time to pack unless little man has other ideas and comes early but then I’m not too far from the hospital so I’m sure someone could always take a trip back home if it’s anything important 🤣😩 and he defo will, he’s always helping me with cleaning at the moment since it takes so much effort for me and im still in work so just small things like that support me a lot and honestly, I’m only basing of my estimated due date still so if anything changes I’m gonna he like 😨 (even tho I’ve got a weird feeling he’s gonna be early) x
I’m gonna hopefully wash babies clothes next weekend (31 weeks) and then pack my bag the week after (32 weeks)
@Eli tbh you probably won’t even be in hospital for longer than a few days MAX I’d say so I wouldn’t panic too much. Half the things people pack never get used but it’s defo best to over pack than under pack I guess! It’s good you live close to the hospital and your partner sounds amazing with helping you out, bless him x
@Aleena that sounds like a good idea! I might also start in the next 2 weeks or so x
I’ve started writing a list and ordering things I need. Will likely pack when I’m off over Xmas / NY. Due 7th Feb.
I’ve already packed most of it because i like to be prepared and have had a strong feeling she’d come early from day 1. Never too early to get prepped, whenever you feel is best. Currently, i’ve packed all of my toiletries and postpartum essentials for me, babies clothes and nappies etc, i just need to get clothes/pjs for me for hospital and i’m done xx
Thinking of doing hospital bag at 30 weeks and I’m due 11th Feb then I have no rush and can take time to pack instead of rush it and then panic to think I’ve forgotten something, no clue about washing baby clothes 🤣 I feel like I should start since there’s so much but like I’m awful with washing usually my partner does it 🤣
