Ah bless you x it’s so hard aint it. I almost dread the nights. Do you swaddle? I find it really helps them settle x
Yeah I swaddle. She’s usually good at going down for naps and at night but nothing I’ve tried all day is working x
Feel for you, have had this for the past few weeks too, he fights his sleep pretty much every evening from 7pm to 10pm, constantly on and off boob, drifts off but then wakes up within 5mins and cries and then feed and then falls asleep and then the same thing continuously all evening 😩. Boy does not like a swaddle either which everyone swears by. I cry pretty much every night feeling like a bad mum not being able to stop him from crying. It’s such hard work! I know everyone keeps saying it will get easier when he’s a little older but don’t want to wish his newborn stage away but kind of do, if that makes sense. Sending big hugs to you 🫂 we can do this 💪
@Lan totally feel you with washing the newborn stage away but not, it's hard when they're super fussy and nothing seems to help 🙈
@Jasmine yep my first was an absolute dream compared to my baby boy now. But that was 11 years ago! He literally cries all the time if he isn’t feeding or sleeping… and he definitely has a big set of lungs too, he’s not quiet about it when he is unhappy. But then I look at him sleeping and he is just the cutest 😍until he wakes up 😖
@Lan gosh I feel silly for crying over one bad day/ night now. My girl has reflux so we haven’t slept for 7 weeks. It’s so hard! I love her and her newborn cuddles but I’m ready for things to improve now, for all our sakes x
Don’t feel silly! But yes 100% I know I’ll miss the newborn cuddles but yes definitely can’t wait for things to improve! I’m not usually a grouchy person but it’s definitely changed me. I miss the happy me (sure my husband does too)🤞x
Bless you, this will be me Monday night when my partner goes away for the night too 🙈 just try to remember you'd do it if te was here, you've got this! 💪
