Absolutely. We aren't even doing gifts in our family this year. The kids will still get presents, but the rest of us have decided to adopt an underprivileged family through the Christmas Bureau, where we buy presents for their kids, instead of buying gifts for the other adults. If your family is amenable maybe you could try something like that! Gift burnout is real, no one seems to need anything and it's gratifying to know you've helped to make someone else's Christmas.
