Baby Dropping

I’m 34 weeks now and this is my second pregnancy. I’ve read that baby will drop much closer to labor sometimes even not until it starts during subsequent pregnancies. Should I be concerned if she drops at 34 weeks? Is that too soon or an indication of early labor? I have absolutely no other signs of labor right now I’m just not sure what’s normal Edit: I just went back in my photos and it looks like my first daughter dropped around 32 weeks I think

I'll be 34 weeks on Monday and at my 32 week OB appointment they mentioned that baby had started to drop. I haven't had any typical signs of labour starting, just my Braxton Hicks are definitely getting more intense so i'm pretty sure my body is starting the process of getting ready for labour already.

I had my daughter at 36 weeks 5 days due to the premature rupture of membranes. So I think she had dropped a week or 2 before that but that was almost 10 years ago and I don't know if I fully remember when she dropped... I think it all depends on your body Last pregnancy I don't think my son had dropped until after 35 weeks and he didn't even want to come out at 38 weeks 5 days. It took 21 hours on pitocin to finally have him.... So wonder if he hadn't fully dropped by then. I'm 32 weeks now and I'm certain little man hasn't dropped yet but I could be wrong it's been a little rough on my round ligament and not to waddle this past week or so.

Both of my babies are low and in position during the third trimester. Not sure that my first really dropped until labor started but her head was in my pelvis for many weeks! Baby #2 is looking much the same. I think it depends a lot on your anatomy as well.
