Snufflebabe on chest, and soles of feet, Calpol plug in, baby olbas oil on a muslin next to bed (out of reach) and the snufflebabe nasal aspirator is an absolute godsend, gross, but works wonders and is the best snot sucker out there! Asda or snufflebabe vapor bubble bath also helps (the Asda one is much cheaper and stronger smelling I find!) Jacobs just had his 3rd cold of the last 2 months and all these really helped him x
All of the above and also saline nasal spray to loosen to mucus in the nose before using nasal aspirator - I use the Frida nasal sucker - my LG hates it but she was so unsettled at night I had to try everything! Also was giving calpol and ibuprofen
Saline spray, snuffle babe vapour rub and I follow what @Jess has commented above, I also cut and keep garlic pieces next to cot
I know it sounds strange but my family and I have been doing this for years and I use it on my little one I put vapo rub on her chest, her back and on the soles of her feet and put socks on her as well when she goes to bed it helps her to breathe whilst her nose is bothering her - I also have recently started putting boiling water in a bowl and mixing in a teaspoon of vapo rub into the water and letting it sit in the bathroom with us whilst doing bath time every night and I’ve noticed a lot of improvement - not to say it is a sure remedy but it could be worth a try
