Eating

My little boy has always been quite a fussy eater, but he has his meals which he likes like pasta, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, pizza and other bits like this. However, over the past couple weeks, he’s gone off of EVERYTHING, and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING. He won’t eat anything! Can someone please shed some advice on what I can do to get him to eat please 🙏 I offer him meals which were his favourite which he now won’t even touch. Every single night I’m throwing away dinners which haven’t even been touched, he just instantly says no and that’s it. And then I’ll make him something else and it’s the same thing. What do I do ?!?!

We had this a while ago and just to keep offering we were in hospital last weekend and now all she’ll eat is cereal 🤦🏻‍♀️

That sounds so stressful, really sorry you're dealing with it. Do you ask him what he might want to eat or maybe get him involved, even a tiny bit in the prep or putting things on oven tray or whatever it might be. We've had times, though not so extreme, where our girl has seemed to exist on little bit of cheese pasta and yoghurt and milk. Sometimes making it seem like she was involved in the decision or prep seemed to help. So has us all eating din at same time as she then starts to get fomo and at least try a little of what's on our plate. Patience is key and really bloody hard to maintain. Sending you good luck

@Josie in hospital over how little she was eating? 😩

Wish I could offer some helpful advice but wanted to let you know your not alone, my little girl has been point blank refusing food for weeks now, won't even try her dinner and it's resulted in alot of my tears because I don't no what else to try!

No something else, just ever since being in she’s been really fussy with food only eating toast or cereal
