Heavy lifting

Hi guys after a bit of advice/calm my nerves… I’m almost 23 weeks pregnant and I’ve very stupidly carried a tv down 2 flights of stairs… have I done something wrong? Have i hurt the baby?😅

I’m 22 + 3 and lift heavy at work. I guess it’s down to personal preference and u know your own body and your own capabilities xxx

Not at all! Yes you shouldn’t carry heavy things when pregnant but it only really applies if it’s something you never used to do pre pregnancy.
It’s good to keep doing things, keep active and keep your strength just as long as your not pushing yourself out of the bounds you did pre pregnancy. Ie if you all of a sudden decided to start lifting weights as a beginner while pregnant xo

My obstetrician okayed lifting weights as long as it's something you did before x

I wouldn't worry if it's a one off though (the TV)

I moved house when I was 30 weeks pregnant and at 32 weeks my hind waters went. I was lifting furniture and pushing beds across the room etc and I’ve always wondered if it was linked so have avoided as far as possible this time around xx

I’ve got a toddler and have to carry/lift him all the time, so I wouldn’t worry!

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?

I did the sneak peek test at 15 weeks pregnant, and the results just came back girl! Has anyone ever taken the test, gotten girl, and it been wrong?
