I had no issues with my induction! I liked knowing when we were going to get the ball rolling lol
Also the contractions are not necessarily stronger, they just don’t gradually happen like they do compared to a natural birth, if you control your pushing and listen to the drs you will minimize the tear- could vary bc the size of the baby tho
I was induced with both my boys and we plan on doing it again for our 3rd whenever we decide to have another one. It is so easy for me. My contractions are a bit more intense because they don’t gradually come. You go from contracting 5min apart to 1min apart in a short time. But with both boys I was in labor for only 8 hours and pushed them out both within 10min and didn’t tear with neither one of them. My boys are 7 years apart and same experience. Hope this helps 🤗
I personally was induced at 39 weeks and 4 days…. My LO DID NOT want to come down the birth canal lol. Basically I got induced bc I got tired of being pregnant and because he was getting too big . I was not dilating and was stuck at 4 cm even after that balloon thing they put… I personally don’t think I’d want to get induced again but I feel like since he was not coming down the canal, even if I didn’t want to be induced I would have had to eventually
I do not recommend an induction based off my experience. I remember feeling how u do and let me tell you I wish I would have waited till baby boy was ready. I had such a terrible experience from the induction meds, they were too much for me. I had a 30hr labor that ended in an emergency c section. And unfortunately because of how much stress I was in due to the meds, my baby lost oxygen to his brain and ended up in the nicu after birth. I know not every one’s experience is like mine but I’ll never recommend an induction unless medically necessary
I got induced at 39 wks 5 days because on my last ultrasound they noticed meconium & I had noticed decreased movement. Got induced and didn’t have any issues, it did take a while though 🥲 baby came out healthy too
I was induced at just over 37 weeks. Labor was an absolute breeze (and that's saying a lot, coming from someone who's as big of a wuss as I am 😂). I did have a periurethral tear that needed stitches, but that could have been caused by the doctor flipping my daughter over with what looked like gigantic salad tongs (she tried to be born "sunny side up") and not from her head.
I was induced at 37 weeks. Induction started at 2am and I had him at 5pm same day. I had a 4th degree tear but in hindsight I did push when they told me to stop but im a ftm and I couldn't stop like he just slipped out lol.
