Christmas miracle came early ✨️

My breech baby girl decided to come on her own 10 days early despite being booked in for a c section on the 9th. She's here safe and sound though and the birth was still amazing, albeit somewhat a surprise! Still have a Christmas tree to decorate when we make it home 🎄💫🌟

Huge congratulations! Absolutely beautiful 🌸🌸🌸

Amazing!

Many congratulations for the baby girl 💐🥳 bless her 🙌🏻

Congratulations !! So was it an emergency c-section in the end? Or did you birth naturally? (I have a breech baby too currently)

Massive congratulations! She’s prefect! I’m also in the same boat - have a breech baby at 37 weeks. Was meant to have an ECV today but it got cancelled. Would love to hear more about your birth if you’re happy to share as currently trying to work out how to proceed

@A_M 🌺🌈 it wasn't an emergency because I went straight in to hospital 2 hours after first signs of labour and explained she was breech so the c section was unplanned for that day but also not supposed to be an emergency as we had 10 hours to prepare! Albeit the doctors were surprised when I was 8cm dilated and said I was next in like for theatre, but even then it wasn't stressful and the theatre team were fab! Was advised not to birth vaginally as it's my first baby and there's always a risk her head wouldn't fit x

@Jenny I tried an ecv at 38 works and sadly it didn't work, we weighed up the options and the doctors said my health and her position didn't pose a risk to Vietnam vaginally but the fact that she was my first birth meant there's always a risk her head would fit and they wouldn't know until it was too late. We decided on a c section because of this but asked if we could have it at 40 weeks as this gave her longer to turn naturally. They agreed and said if we go into labour before that date to just go to hospital sooner and be scanned, which is what ended up happening and we were happy that because she hadn't turned natural before or during labour we would have the section x

Thank you Kelly. That’s super helpful and made me feel so much better about everything - it’s my first baby too. I’m so glad you had such a positive birth and hope you enjoy every second of her!
