I bought my husband his Christmas present
I bought what he’s been wanting. We share a credit card and he just saw that a bought something for $1k. He asked if it was me or if not he will dispute it. I really want to surprise him. I just told him that it wasn’t me so he’ll dispute it but idk if he believes me or not. I don’t know if I should go ahead and tell him yes it was me or not. I’m just sure he’ll piece two and two together and know what I got him😭

I wouldn’t let him dispute it, because the bank can find out what it was and tell him and the surprise is gone anyway. Just tell him it was you and it’s a surprise.
I would have just told him you'd bought a present for him, if he disputes the bank will investigate and tell him anyways and then you've also wasted his time trying to get ahold of the bank
