You could maybe call and talk to a nurse for the best insight. It might depend on the type of birth control and where you're at in your cycle.
my son is a birth control pill baby, the pill isn't very effective

They said the first week fully for 7th day after is the 8th pill

i've gotten pregnant 4 times on the pill, 1 of them is living, he's almost 8 weeks old, one was a stillborn, and 2 were miscarriages
i've tried 3 different birthcontrol pills, they don't work for me. everyone is different but from experience definitely use a condom even on the pill
@Lauralei Oh shoot, sorry for my language but even if I am on it and after taking the 7th pill, I could still be pregnant ? Even if I did it all correctly ? Or similar timings for the first full week ? They say after 8th pill like it should be fully protected

@Justine it really depends on your body, for me they didn't work at all but for you they might work as intended
Sorry to give a stressful answer but… Birth control is not fully effective for a while when you first take it so you are always told to use secondary protection for that time ( I think it’s the first 4-6weeks but I don’t remember) so there is still a small chance you could get pregnant while on it.
