If baby turns 9 months in August will they get the funding from September? X

Sent my comment before finishing! Same as the current funding for 9 months old just with extra hours. If your child is 9 months by September 2025 they will be eligible for 30 hours, provided you are working the minimum hours and not earning above the threshold, if they are 9 months after September but before January they will be eligible come the January Term. https://www.gov.uk/check-eligible-free-childcare-if-youre-working

Yes you’re eligible for the term that starts after baby turns 9 months, so new term starts in September. So for the September term you’d need to apply for your ‘code’ during the summer term (1 April-31 August).

Is it not just 15 hours until they turn 3? X
