Periods

Hi everyone I’m 6 weeks PP - not had a period as yet but wanting to go back on the pill asap… should I wait till I have my first period since giving birth or is-it okay to start the pill… I’m unsure what to do… but want to be safe.

I started the pill before my period but I’d just have a chat with the doctor to make sure they are happy with it. (That’s what I did)

I just started asap. It takes a few weeks to fully get into your system anyways so the chances are, you’ll still get your first period on the pill xx

I just started the pill before my period. Just be sure to use extra protection for the first week whilst your system takes in the hormones x

When did you postpartum bleeding stop? I’m 2 week postpartum xx

@Lauren 5 1/2 weeks PP was when I stopped bleeding
