@Sophie once its gotten that bad you need antibiotics or it’ll spread to her kidneys … anyways @Emily are you able to at least DoorDash azo pain relief pills to your house to help with pain since you mentioned you can’t go to doctor or shop
@Armauni I don’t get paid till Thursday but I’m gonna try ring the doctors tomorrow and see if they’ll do a phone consultation to prescribe me stuff because my boyfriend can collect it I just can’t go anywhere because I’ve had ankle surgery 😭
@Emily I just remembered, I used this app called K health it asked me my symptoms , connected me with a live doctor through my phone and they immediately prescribed me antibiotics for uti that was available at the closet pharmacy to me which was CVS . They won’t ask you for your health insurance information either and they give u a rx discount on antibiotics when picking up from pharmacy and maybe your bf can help you out with the payment I wish I could but I’m currently a sahm and not working unfortunately
The app is blue with a chat bubble around the letter K if u can’t find it
Try to speak to a doctor asap. Can you contact an out of hours doctor? A few years ago i was getting UTI’s once a month and they are awful. They can also get worse very quickly, i was super tired and (sounds crazy) but started hallucinating etc. Try get some antibiotics as soon as you can, i also used to find a hot water bottle helpful as i’d get a slight stomach ache too. Good luck and hope you feel better soon
For a UTI, you can often get antibiotics straight from the pharmacy without a doctor’s appointment. I’ve done this a couple of times and it’s so much easier.
Go to the pharmacy! Pharmacists can now prescribe antibiotics for a UTI x
Tylenol. And ibuprofen if you aren’t pregnant. Ring the doctor tomorrow, need antibiotics. It sounds like in GB you might even be able to just ask the pharmacist
Drink lots of water and if you have the urge go everytime u pee your pushin out the bacteria
Drinking cranberry juice is supposed to help and lots of non sugary and no caffeine drinks. My sister used to get this sometimes. And I got it a little bit, never very bad. And if it doesn't get better within 24 hours, I'd be making plans to see a doctor. That sounds miserable and severe
Drink lots and lots of water to help flush it out
