Bruising from sickness

I’m 33+3 and my sickness is getting worse. I’m on tablets to control it but it’s hit or miss if they work. I’m vomiting phlegm and mucus daily or every other day. My throat hurts so bad, almost swollen and it hurts my ears when I swallow. I don’t know what to do anymore 😭 It hurts so bad and there’s close to nothing I can do

Poor thing! I had HG with my first, I didn’t have it with this one thankfully, I feel your pain. I just ate ginger biscuits and chewed lots and lots of gum x

What anti sickness are you on?

@Lynds cyclizine. Been on it since 14 weeks and now issues until now

Have you asked if they can change the medication for you? See if they can use an alternative, might help. Hope you get sorted and feeling by soon x

@Jessica I’ve been on the same medication since 14 weeks and had no issues until now so I doubt they’ll change it. I can’t get into my GP anyway as appointments are a nightmare

Cyclizine barely touched me when I suffered with HG in hospital, after hospital without it i had good days and really bad days but I asked my midwife to put me on ondansetron and within half hour of taking it I felt so much relief, never thrown up with it in my system and I only have to take 1 tablet every 2 days its that good, Id 110% ask them to swap you over

@Lynds I’ve had no issues with it until now 🤷‍♀️ it’s not like I’m actually throwing up anymore it’s phlegm/mucus
