Baby accidental swallow

Help I think my baby accidentally swallowed a small button like joystick of a video game console I recently bought. She had been chewing it off before now and I’d been taking it from her and keeping it away from her reach. Somehow I forgot to hide it and she found it and chewed it off but now we can’t find it anywhere. We’ve searched everywhere and I’m scared she might have swallowed it. She has since pooped but I couldn’t bring myself to check to see if she pooped it out. I’m trying not to panic. Should I take her to the hospital or am I overreacting?

Take her to the hospital it never hurts to be 100% positive. Rather be peace of mind than constantly worrying and if she did than the sooner the better too know also

Yiu should try and check if she pooped it out Most likely to

I wouldn’t take her in. She should just poop it out

She will poop it out, dont worry

seriously why did you not check her poo

@EL could cause a blockage in her digestive system

If she doesn't have any signs of discomfort, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, hypersalivating, and able to eat and drink afterward it should be fine. It could take up to 4 days to end up in her stool. You just have to be certain it was not a magnet or a battery, if so, ER.

Gross to do but i definitely would have checked all up in that poop. Esp if I didn’t take her to the dr first. Was it small enough for her to swallow without discomfort? And when did it happen how many days has it been?
