Can I stop waking him at night?

My son passed him birth weight at his 2 week weight check. He'll be 1 month on Satuday, and his 1 month check-up is on Monday. His pediatrician hasn't said if I can stop waking him at night. I'll probably just wait till his checkup and ask then, but I was wondering what everyone did for theirs when they were a month old.

I honestly never woke him up to feed. He was a lower %tile and I would dream feed or wait for him to wake. Only a few times he slept 3-4 hours so it wasn’t a huge concern. But at that age they are controlled by their stomach and not sleep cycles so they will wake up when hungry. Totally up to you if you want to keep waking. If baby is gaining weight and happy and healthy!

I never woke mine apart from very first night as he was high risk so had to encourage to feed every 2 hours

If he's at birth weight you don't need to. But I was told to phase it out. So 2hrs to 3hrs then 4hrs

As he's exceeded his birth weight, there is no need to wake him 😊
