Moms on call

Has anyone used the typical day schedules from “moms on call” book? If so, how is it going for you? My baby girl is almost 5 weeks and I wanted to start following the schedule. My only thing is at night sometimes she doesn’t finish the bottle and also do you have to follow the schedule to a T? It seems like the schedule can be thrown off easily

We used moms on call and we were flexible with it. If something didn’t not work one day we would just go about our day and try again the next day. Flexibility is key to not lose your mind. It will just click. My son got his sleep schedule down at 4 months and was sleeping through the night. Love those books. I will use them again with our next kid.

@Cristina What happened if you like went out and couldn’t follow the schedule? I just want her to sleep during the night

What are the basics of the mom on call schedule? Totally curious because we followed the babywise schedule. Babywise is a schedule of sleep, feed, play based on the kids age designed to help kid sleep through the night. I often found myself organizing my day around naps. Especially when baby got too old to nap on the go.

@Jamie you just start over the next day. It will click for baby we didn’t stop what we wanted to do. We would take the bassinet stroller and our son would sleep there.

@Anna moms on call is the very similar it changes with age. They has a little bit of cry it out but we skipped that because that’s just not my vibe. But with anything do what works for you and your family these are guides to just help you have a flow. Like I said earlier in the comments you need to be flexible because every day won’t be perfect.
