Baby not interested in food

My almost 8 month old baby gets very distracted when I offer first feed of the day when she wakes up. Wont feed much. We go for walk, and then I offer breakfast and she wont have that and she will demand BF at that point. I’m trying to offer her breakfast and lunch but she will refuse almost everything and drink only water. Pls tell me this will change as I want her to have healthy eating habits.

Same boat with my 8 month old. I just keep offering honestly. Sometimes he likes to just try it and then he’s over it. But I keep offering.

They say food is just for fun before they are one :) just keep offering. It can be a little frustrating with food wastage but at this age their main food source is milk. Don’t be worried about it. You can always talk to a HV to get advice x

8 months is veeeeery young still and completely normal. Don't rush it. Trying to push her into eating when she's distracted is what will contribute to unhealthy eating habits. Just keep offering and if she's not interested, try again later. Eventually she will eat. It may take months - toddlers are notorious for never wanting to sit down and eat and many exist on goldfish and cheerios, but then go on to become perfectly healthy kids and adults.

This is happening with my 6mo. It's a lot and so annoying. I just try to feed him more often. Happening with the bottle. He's so distracted.
