Baby Girl has Arrived!! đź’•

My beautiful baby girl Brooklyn is here! Born Dec 1st, 8.10 lbs, 20.5 inches, 4:01 am birthed natural at home! This will be my second home birth but this one was even faster than the first! I posted here I lost my mucus plug on Wednesday after a sweep on tuesday. I started having mild cramping but nothing I could be sure about. Days passed - Saturday was the start of whats been a 5 day long snow storm. I started feeling a little different and started feeling very mild contractions in the afternoon. I knew these were different pains, not braxton hicks or anything. I started timing but ot was very irregular but still consistent. By 11 pm i was swaying through the discomfort and we started meeting the 511 and called our midwife. In true snow storm fashion she was just finishing another delivery and was heading over. We had a 2nd midwife come first to check me, i was 4cm and 100% effaced. I stayed active the next few hours walking back and forth, squatting whatever I could. I was starting to be sleepy so I laid down for a few contraction’s. I went to the bathroom and threw up (peeing myself) lool i knew it was pee but midwife thought it may be my waters. She did another check I was 6cm with a huge bag of waters sitting there. I was worried as my 2.5 yo was sleeping upstairs but I had said I guarantee he wakes up when its go time. He woke up and husband went to get him and I started feeling much stronger contractions that I had to make noise through. The pressure was so intense and out gushed huge bag of waters. Baby was ready to go and came in just 3 pushes which was a crazy experience as my son took 2 hrs to push out!! Overall it was an amazing birth!! Barely any tearing and I am already up and about! Good luck mamas you can do this!!! 💪💪❤️
