@Jess thank you, I’ll give this a go xx
What sort of bottle are you offering the water in? My girl associates bottles with milk, so won’t drink anything other than milk out of them. We offer water in a normal water bottle / sippy cup x
@Nicole I’ve tried the tommee tippee free flow trainer cup, the tommee tippee weighted straw cup and the munchkin 360 sippy cup xx
What do you drink water from? Maybe try sharing your water. My girl won’t do certain things but if she sees I drink from my bottle she will try that 😂 she also tried to drink from my husbands pint glass which was not a great idea
@Kasia I have a sistema water bottle gonna give this a try, thank you. Just get really worried xx
@Jodie did you speak to gp or health visitor? Do kids need to drink a lot of water? If he’s having milk it’s liquid after all? My girl won’t touch milk. She won’t drink big amounts of water either just little sips here and there. I’m still breastfeeding her because I worry that she will just dry out 🤪
I haven’t but I know they advised you stop giving milk at certain age because of the sugar, but at the end of the day, that’s the only thing my son will drink, I’d rather he drinks milk then nothing at all and then end up becoming dehydrated x
@Jodie I wouldn't worry about stopping milk, it won't hurt! But I agree with what others posted my little girl always grabs my cups if water if I'm drinking it 😂 xx
@Jess thank you 😊, the advised has put my mind at ease. x
Try herbal tea or to give him water from a tiny glass, like a shot glass or an expresso coffee mug
Try drinking some water out of a glass cup and see if he is interested. For some reason, my LO always seems to want what im having and more of it from an adult cup rather than her own
@Anisha I will try this, thank you x
Maybe try a different bottle? So drink from a normal cup, put it in his milk bottle, straws, sippy cups etc xx
