Follow on milk?
Do we actually need to start follow on milk after 6 months? Or can we stay on stage one? I've been told loads of different things about it 🤔

I read that stage one is exactly the same and it’s just a money making scheme… but I need to look into it more 😅🤔
Our health visitor told us not to change to follow on milk. As others have said, companies can only advertise follow on milk but its not any different to stage 1.
Exactly what Jess has said! Marketing scheme! The only reason I would use the next stage is if it’s on offer and cheaper than stage 1 but if stage 1 is only available then it’s fine to stay on until 12 months when they can have cows milk.
No difference between them just they are legally allowed to advertise after 6m

Can stay on stage one until ready for cows milk - follow on milk is essentially an advertising ploy to make more money 😅 however, you can get discounts and offers on follow on milk, whereas you can’t legally on first milk so there is that to consider!
