starting slowly
I haven't even bought the stuff to put in the hospital bag yet 😂
@scarlett I’m only 27 weeks but I love being organised and would rather have everything ready than rushing last minute😂 You never know 🤷🏻♀️.
I don't even have the bag 😂
Yes i’m all packed, like you i like being organised and im v nervous so this takes some of the stress out of it knowing whenever she’s ready to come, i’ll be ready to go! xx
yh same here i’m only 25 weeks and iv started just some postpartum stuff i need and washed baby clothes got everything else
sometime after Christmas 🎄
I think by the end of the year, I’ll pack, baby can come anytime after 30 wks so always gotta be prepared
I'm going to pack a bag at around 30 weeks I think. My first was born unexpectedly at 34 weeks and I didn't have a bag packed, wasn't organised at all so definitely want to avoid that happening again! Xx
@Isobel yeah makes sense for you to pack earlier x
No where near 😳 will aim for end of Jan/early Feb and due 10th March x
With my first my bag still wasn’t packed on my due date🙈 luckily he wasn’t born til 42+1🤣 i think this time i’ll probably prepare a bit earlier😂
Im 27weeks and baby’s already tried to make an appearance 🤣soo that bag is getting packed soon

I lost most of my mucus plug and had some crazy pain and all I done was went shopping for the day later on that night I noticed it and went to the hospital and ended up staying for a few days under observation 😫
I haven’t even thought about it, but I packed it 9 hours before I got induced with my little boy😂
@Nevaeh Oh no 😭 You have to take it easy from now on. What did they say at the hospital? The mucus plug can regenerate.
Yeah I know 😫 I have been since then haha but they just said for me to take it slow, if I have an type of pain or loss again that I have to go in straight away and yeah it does but where so much was lost they were concerned as all they could see what the bit where the waters are if ygm 🤣🤣🤣

@Nevaeh can I ask how can we know the difference between discharge and mucus plug, because I literally have thick creamish almost yellow discharge, is that even normal, and it’s like so much. But I don’t have pains. Oh and where was the pain?
@Imane yeah your discharge should be like a white or clear thin or sticky consistency but my mucus plug was like a clear big blob with like yellowish/reddish bits going though it. You could have BV or a yeast infection as they are usually creamy but to be honest with you, I went through pictures on Google and then I called my Midwife and she referred me straight to the delivery so if you feel quite concerned, contact your midwife. The pains I had were like shooting pains down there and then I was having like really bad period pains
@Nevaeh so how did they prevent you from going into preterm labour at the hospital?
Gave a course of injection ,was on the magnesium drip and was on bed rest for a week and now have midwife’s and consultation every other week
@Nevaeh which injection? Did you have any side effects?
This might be a silly question but what type of bag are you guys using for your hospital bags? Is it a suitcase kind of situation or do you get a specific bag?
@Rach with my first I took a small suitcase for me and then just his changing bag
@Rach tbh I wondered this, debating a small suitcase as has wheels, but don't want to be that person who goes overboard 😂
@Sally-Megan that’s exactly my worry 😂 they might think I’m moving in haha
@Rach With my first I took a small suitcase but with this one I’m just gonna have a small bag for baby and another bigger bag for me. There’s nice ones on Shein
