Baby gone off food

I wondered if anyone is having the same situation, my little girl will no longer eat anything that I give her. She is just refusing anything that I make. She has always been a really good eater and never refused anything. I am at a loss as what to do.

It's tricky may not help but I always try to eat with my lo and put food out on her high chair table, no TV and Emma Hubbard you tube is quite helpful

This is exactly what we do, I encourage her to feed herself as I thought that might help but instead she just throws it on the floor every time. It's so difficult at the moment

They do go through this phase, it’s so annoying as you feel like you’re just wasting food but just keep giving her the option.. she will eat it if she’s hungry! Are you using finger foods? Or puree? How old is your little one? My little girl around 7 months point blank refused to be fed, she wanted to feed herself!! Might be the same?

@Sarah so we are doing a mix of both every lunch and dinner, she is on more textured food now rather than puree. I thought it was the fact she wanted to feed herself but it's not making a difference. I feel she's cutting her second tooth so that might be why. She's just turned 9 months last week

Probably is teething aswell which isn’t nice either - I know it’s tough but keep going one day she will just click again! Try more finger foods and see if she gets the hang of that or just let her feed herself more chunky puree amd get messy! X

My boy have been exactly the same for the past week or so. The only thing he really eats is his porridge. Hopefully it gets better x

Sorry to hear that yes teething probably has something to do with it but maybe try have a similar meal next to her so she doesn't feel the pressure maybe or you may already do this

Thank you for your ideas, we had a bit of a better day with food today. I ended up feeding her the main part of her meal first then offering finger bits and that worked well today!
