Really worried about tender lump

I have noticed a lump within my overhang but above my scar on my left side feels like a golf ball. I do not have this on my right side. The right side is soft and normal. I have terrible health anxiety and I’m so so scared. It’s my second section and I don’t recall having this with my first. I’m going to call the GP tomorrow for an appointment or go into triage tomorrow afternoon. Has anyone else had this and it not be something serious? I’m so worried.

@Sky thank you so much for telling me as I’m honestly panicking. I don’t remember having it with my first and google is telling me it could be all sorts of things. Have you had it checked ?

I've had it from the beginning, so I asked about it at my 8 week check up and that's what she told me it was. I'm now almost 8 months postpartum and it hasn't changed, but then I have never done scar massage or anything like that to try and make it go down so that would probably help

I have a little bobble in the middle of my scar which is slightly painful at times! Just a bit of scar tissue!! Although I’d like to hear more about you having health anxiety.. i feel like I have this….as I’ve been having these panic attacks any time of day… thinking my heart is stopping and I’m dying or overthinking every single issue I have😪 my partner basically told me it’s in my head stop worrying’ I would if it’s that easy’ xx
