Hi izzie thanks
My baby had both, Enfamil and Similac, had no issues with either, but we changed to Kendamil when I found a bug in the Similac can. 🤢
I breastfed up to 8 months then my milk supply dropped significantly to the point I might only get 1oz per feeding so I had no choice but to put him on formula and I started giving him similac sensitive he took to it very well and it was a smooth transition
@Adri oh wow! Thanks for your input
@Bre thank you! It doesn’t seem like my LO will take a bottle. My milk supply definitely went down as well but she’s been refusing bottles since day one… the cereal with the formula she’ll eat though! But to drink nope!
We used Bobbie too, for our entire feeding journey! Baby loved it!! Well literally everything has lead but something's better than nothing. And fed is best so...! If you are able to afford it, Bobbie is the best! Good luck.
@Shradha thanks much
Formula is safe and nutritionally complete, and all formulas have super strict guidelines. The best formula is the one your baby will drink without discomfort or allergy.
Similac made my baby really constipated!
In terms of ingredients- Similac is better than Enfamil.
Hospital gave my son similac so that’s what he’s been on. But he’s gone from Advanced(light blue)~> Comfort (light purple) ~> Alimentum(dark purple) with an animal protein allergy. I have wic and this is what they pay for 🤷🏽♀️
I’ve just used enfamil since that’s what WIC assigned me
Similac is known to be more bitter than enfamil so some babies won't even drink Similac but they all have to follow the same standards. We did enfamil neuro pro gentlease (purple can) because we could get it free and the kid's did fine on it. I did have 1 Dr try to tell me I needed to switch to Similac and he gave me a couple sample cans to try but you could tell with how he "advertised" that he gets kickbacks from them lol
Kendamil worked best for my baby 🤗

I used neither.. I recommend staying away from US formula if you can. I use an organic formula from Germany called Holle and it is the absolute BEST! I would order a total of 5-6 boxes and it would last me through the month. And once I get to my last 2 boxes I go ahead and order more for the next month. I did a whole review on it on my YT Channel. They have other brands as well, however the only brand I’ve used is Holle. You won’t regret it girl.
@Jillian I appreciate that thanks!
@Emily I’ve heard that before thanks for your input
@Yassi good to know!! I have both but mostly similac and she seems to take the similac soy without an issue! In cereal only though because she refuse a bottle not sure why 😊Thank!
@Rezalynn got you!! My LO would throw up every time she took the enfamil and plus she refuses a bottle as well. However they recommend the similac in the orange thin as well as the ailment and I started to mix her cereal with similac soy no issue found ! Fingers crossed 🤞🏾
@Taylor how does baby tolerate that?
@Liv got you!! Have you continued with the enfamil? Also I wonder why he wanted you to switch that’s interesting 🤔 thanks for you input
@Kimberlee I tried my daughter once and she didn’t want it maybe because she doesn’t take bottle! Heard good things about it though.
@Shaay thanks much!!! You know funny enough my daughter doesn’t take a bottle but now my milk supplies is running low I’m thinking!! I currently do similac soy in her morning cereal though and she is taking that fine.. not sure why she doesn’t want the bottle. As for that formula, you just order online or through Amazon?
@Keela we stuck with the same enfamil formula the whole way to weaning. Every peds office and hospital works with one or the other company. He obviously had a contract with Similac so he was encouraging his patients to swap which in turn would benefit him. There was no nutritional reason
@Keela she does well with it. We are transitioning from it tho to whole milk tho.
@Keela you would order it from organicformulashop.com or organiclifestart.com and the have the goat kind & the kind from the cow you would have to research on the site & read what would be best for your baby & choose the best option
formula definitely wasn’t my first choice but we ended up needing it. we used Bobbie, it’s organic and European standard which was important to me
