SJ Maas girlies

Hello! I’ve done the acotar series which I adore and crescent city which for me fell very flat. I’ve started throne of glass but really struggling to get into it. My question is, shall I keep with it? I’ve heard great things about the series but I’m a few chapters in and struggling to connect

Deffo keep with it! It takes a little bit to get into the flow of it but it picks up!

Definitely, it's my favourite series by her! The first book is a bit of a slog but still great, the rest get soooooo good 😁

Throne of glass is better than ACOTAR in terms of plot & characters to me personally I’d stick with it!

Keep with it. I didn't really like the first book, went into the second book after a few months and was so glad I stuck with it

It is an epic adventure book, that is very enjoyable and whilst I think Caelena is a MUCH better character than Feyre, I struggled a bit with the main plot… the first few books the story was going in one direction and then in Heir of Fire it becomes a completely different story. Don’t get me wrong, SJM managed to bring it all together to a satisfying end, however, I found myself more invested in the side characters stories than the main story… In my opinion, the ACOTAR series was the best one story wise… basically ACOTAR is a better romance and Throne of Glass is more epic.
