@Hannah for the babies blood type? I got told they can only check babies blood from 16 weeks so I’m 18+2 now and just want to know if baby is negative or positive. I don’t see my midwife again until 24 weeks
Yes, I had babies bloods tested at my 12 weeks scan alongside combined screening. Have waited for my results but I’m sure you could call the midwifes to get the results (Im based in Brighton so Im not sure if its different where you are) x
I had my tests 3 weeks ago and haven't heard so I just assumed they told you at the next appointment
I just had my blood taken on Wednesday and midwife said she will call and it will take a while, possibly a couple of weeks before we hear back
I was told I'd get a text if baby was pos. But you don't have the first anti-d injection till much later anyway so it wouldn't really matter in that sense if you didn't find out until your next appointment. Although if you want to know, you can call your midwife.
Hey! I called the hospital, apparently the results don’t go there. They go straight to your Midwife. Had my midwife appointment today and she was able to give me the results
