Are any other ladies feeling called to skip pregnancy tests altogether?

Starting my two week wait:) This is my 3rd cycle ttc, the last 2 I didn't test, just waited for my period to come. I plan on doing that again. If I were to miss my period, I think I'd want to skip the tests still. Something about being in the mystery and getting to tune into my body feels like exactly what I'd need when my time comes💞 Anyone else out there feeling something similar?

I love this mindset. I wish I could get there myself. Maybe if we aren't pregnant this cycle I'll try that the next time we are trying. I want to not think about it all the time right around the holidays.

I've had this idea in my head for awhile even before ttc. I'll admit the first cycle we tried, it almost went out the window haha but each cycle I've been able to ground a little more and let my body tell me I wasn't pregnant by my period arriving. Of course, I don't want my period to arrive in a few weeks though😊 If you'd like to chat at all, you can message me. I also started a group for this topic, but no one is in it yet lol https://www.peanut-app.io/share/EM5rCxes5Ob If anyone is interested, you can join and share this group and we can start discussing it together ❤️

We’ve been trying for three years and I’ve done four rounds of IVF. When I’m not doing IVF we still always try naturally every single cycle and I’ve never taken a pregnancy test before missed period. I feel like that’s just more of a mindfuck. Obviously I never missed one clearly, but if I did miss it. I think I would give it like a day and then test! I see so many girls in the fertility world that test so early and post pictures of their pregnancy test and I think they just make themselves more crazy. The journey can be really challenging and exhausting for so many women so why make it harder for ourselves!

@Amanda i agree 100% about it being more of a mindfuck 😵‍💫 To me, knowing a little earlier doesn't make up for the stress of testing and getting a negative, while it could potentially still be a possibility of being pregnant. And getting a negative test seems more upsetting than my body telling me "not this cycle" with getting my period. Also, i don't wanna spend money on tests lol I'm wishing you the best and hoping you get your baby soon💞 sending love your way!

I have been thinking about doing this as well.

@Karen i invite you to join the group I made:) https://www.peanut-app.io/share/EM5rCxes5Ob We can chat about it in there if you'd like!
