Anyone else going through the witching hours?

Baby is 4 weeks old today and I feel like I’m really in the trenches with it at the moment! At a total loss of what to do tonight. I’ve given her a bath, bottle, winded her, put her in her swaddle bag, taken her upstairs and dimmed the lights, rocked her in my arms for 40 minutes and played white noise all for her to sleep for 10 minutes and then wake up again! Hoping this phase will pass soon! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel you! Just had the same with my baby George. 5.5 weeks and just spent from last feed 16:30pm burped, tried to settle him, walked around with him in my arms, changed nappy, tried to see if he was still gassy, settled him on the breast, and just wouldn’t settle at all. Nothing working at all. Until I laid him on my chest, not sure if he just cried himself out it, if I’m honest!

Our witching hour is 10pm and honestly, the anxiety I have about going to bed each night is wild 😂

My new best friend is the rockit, 2 nights running (ever since it arrived!) I’ve been able to switch on and get a fussy but tired baby back to sleep. It’s not strictly for cribs but I read the faqs and this looked to be about having it safely out of baby reach rather than being inherently unsafe. The vibrations send her back off, I turned it on twice last night and had an extra couple of hours

My baby boy… witching hour 4pm-10pm every single night, I was actually getting so anxious about it every single today however tonight was the first night he didn’t after I put a vibration on him and he was laid so content then eventually he went to sleep. Look into a rockit or something similar. I pray tomorrow it’ll soothe him again 🤞🏼

I’m the exact same at 5 weeks… dread nighttime’s as from about 5pm til 11/12 she just cries no matter what I do… she does eventually sleep with a rocking crib, white noise, lullaby, and galaxy projector on the ceiling but even then it’s not for long 😵‍💫😵‍💫 does anyone know how long this phase lasts ?

I’m in the exact same position as you, 4 week old baby girl and after feeding, burping and trying to settle it ends up being her next feed and the cycle starts again 😂 I’m sure it will get better x

I feel you! Every night for the past week from around 6-11pm 😓 my baby turned 3 weeks yesterday

I don’t know if it’s a fluke or what but I switched to Aptamil comfort formula on Thursday and now for the 3rd night in a row, she’s like a totally different baby! Completely settled, no fussing at all. Might be worth a try for anyone who’s formula feeding?
