Milk intake

Is anyone else’s baby not finishing their bottles anymore?? My little boy is having 3 7oz a day offered before foods and used to finish every drop. The last couple of days he’s been leaving an oz or two 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yep. The only one he will really finish is his bed time bottle. Other than that he will have a bit and just not interested in the rest. I had me 9-12month health visitor review and mentioned it and she said it’s fine as long as you give other forms of dairy instead like yoghurt

We are having the same! I offer the same amount and this morning she only drank around 50ml! The only one she drinks a bit more on is the 3/4pm bottle ! Just trying to offer water more & more dairy and giving multivitamin. Do you feed before breakfast or do breakfast first? I do milk first but wondering if she wants it the other way round

@Becca ohh blimey! I always offer milk first before breakfast, otherwise he will eat breakfast and have no milk at all x

@Jess that’s my worry too and as she’s already only having a tiny amount 🤦‍♀️ I’d say she has about 50-80ml morning, 150ish afternoon then around 80-120 bed! Idk if more teeth are coming but she’s been really off milk for a while 😩x

@Becca I wouldn’t worry yourself to much! As long as she’s happy and healthy that’s the main thing 💗 She will let you know when she wants it or not so don’t feel pressure she’s not drinking loads anymore x

Yup! We offer 3x 7oz, The first is hit and miss 5-7oz Middle he taks 3/4oz on a good day & sometimes refuses (i think this will go soon) Bedtime bottle is always a winner! Im considering giving him 8/9oz just to keep him topped up!

At 10 months the NHS say around 400ml (approx 14oz) so this is completely fine!
