Facebook grandma
I'm seriously so over my mil. She acts like she loves my daughter so much. She posts things about missing her yet won't call or text to talk to her. She also couldn't even call her on her first bday): yet made a point to post ok my post about how much she loves her and I honestly hide the comment I was so pissed. Like you don't get to say you love her and miss her so much yet can't call her on her bday. She's also so immature and constantly reposted Tik toks that k swear are towards me. I'm just so over the shoe of oh I'm such a great grandma I'm so involved on social media when she's not involved. Sorry rant over

My in-laws are bad about this, too. But when it comes down to it, they're really only interested in seeing her when it involves us coming to their house. And then, they usually invite SIL and her family (who live next door to them) to come, too, so the kids end up in the playroom the whole time and don't actually interact much with them. Even when it's just us, they prefer for my daughter to be in the playroom instead of actually spending time with them. 🫠

I hear you. Yeah mine just constantly takes photos of our boy instead of actually interacting with him. She sends them to fuck knows who constantly when we're over even though we've said we're being cautious over sharing images widely. I feel like saying, he's here now, you could actually play with him? It's just bloody bragging rights. She got pissed off we asked her not to tell her mates until we were 20wks preg as we had a loss before. You'd have thought she'd understood. They just have to show off
