Curly hair dryness

How do I keep my daughters hair moisturised? I wash it & I put leave in conditioner in but then it goes so dry 🥲🥲 Am I doing something wrong here? 🥺

Curl cream. Hair cream. But sometimes hair can just be dry even after using all of that product. From the picture it doesn’t look dry on top but the back looks like that probably because it was slept on. Maybe try bonnet or silk pillow case. Helps to retain moisture and limits breakage

It it dry or just undefined? I use Camille Rose leave in conditioner on soaking wet hair, which moisturises my daughters really well, then grapeseed oil on after, sometimes it will still look kind of fluffy if I don’t also put a gel on afterwards to define it

What are u using? Not all products are created equal

@Chí that was after I’d given her a bath 😅🥲🥲

@Chloe i honestly think it’s a bit of both, what type of gel do you use?

@Gigi L currently I use Cantu products for kids, the shampoo, conditioner & detangling spray. I also have a softener that I use as well

Yeah use hair cream or curl cream. I agree with above, camille rose is a good brand Idk gel might work for styling but I don’t have this hair texture, (mines tighter curls) however whenever I use gel it’s very drying and damaging to my hair if I don’t wash it off

Coconut oil goes a long way for curls:)

@Shannon I use the Camille rose curl marker gel atm but I’ve used others which are good. But their leave in conditioner is definitely the best I’ve used, it’s made a big difference to the softness of her hair x

@Shannon ditch the cantu. Its a pile of s***. Id go camille rose, kinky curly knot today or taliah waajid. Mielle currently have a lawsuit going on so id avoid that
