@Alicia but how am I supposed to warm the pre made bottles up?
They dont need to be warm there ready to drink but I had the tommy tippee bottle warmer which would work x
You can just use those at room temperature - which is what they are bought and stored at so no chilling or warming required x
If guess if you really want to warm it to more than room temp a little you could always ask midwife for a cup of boiled water and just put the bottle in that for a couple of mins
Ask your midwives at an appointment as they usually have bottle warming facilities on the ward but just double check on your next appointment x
You can take in the ready to feed sterilised bottles of milk. Most brands do it. I used Cow and gate. Think it was about £7 for a pack of 6 from Sainsbury's. We asked the midwives for warm them up for us x
Ready-made bottles that come with teats just shake and ready to feed, no need to warm them up
Try and start them off on room temp feeds - it will be a life saver going forwards 😂
Does your hospital not provide formula for you? My hospital had 2oz bottles of the ready to drink formula with nipples for the bottles so we didn’t have to bring anything.
I never warmed them x
@Kelsey no sadly not, and before I even asked i haven’t had any other children so I wouldn’t of known x
You could take some ready to feed formula to hospital. You can get ones that also come with teats so you don’t need to take bottles and keep them sterile
