Help my toddler not eating main meals

Hi mums I really need some advice or just anyone to tell me if this is normal My almost 2 year old lately hasn’t been eating properly if not nothing (main meals). Will only have breakfast smoothies (I try to put as much in there such as avocado, spinach, banana etc / water / usual milk for bed / snacks such as crackers or fruit pouches But will refuse proper food I make him - even if it’s something he’s had before and loved His poops have also increased too - such as 2-3 times a day. How is this possible with no proper food??? Also he’s been waking up in the middle of the night too - been going on like this for about 1-2 weeks I’m going insane!!! How is he pooing frequently but not eating properly?!!

Ria included great info which covers a lot of things that might be at play. For us and when we found our toddler wasn't hungry at meal times we limited or completely stopped snacks and on days where I feel like she's didn't get enough food I'll make her pasta, noodles or pizza which are her favorite and just do a hidden veggie sauce

@Hareem I jst be looking stuff up bout ma son maself for sure

This is very normal. The increase in poop could be due to lack of fiber if he's having mostly smoothies or pouches. When this happens I usually limit snacks to only at set times and tell them at meal/snack times that there will be no more food for how ever long and tell them to make sure they eat enough so they won't be hungry before the next meal/snack time.
