@Kylie I agree
If this bothers you, get over it. It's just so stuff.
I don't understand it. My guy we've been seperated a while. He still wears the same underwear!! I've offered to buy him underwear and he declines. I feel like not much has changed. Some people don't rotate their things?? It isn't that I give away anything on purpose some things I definitely do. Im just someone who enjoys new things.
I feel like if it were meaningful stuff like a handmade/custom made item, that would be kinda messed up to still have lol
I think clothes and stuff isn’t an issue but keepsakes and stuff I’d have a problem
With this cost of living?? I'd be mad if he wanted to buy replacements 😂
@Ella lol 😂
If it’s a phone, nice watch, wallet, etc then no I don’t care even clothes , shoes. If someone else is buying it then I have no problem with keeping it. Things are expensive but if it’s a ring or something like that I wouldn’t even get with them. My tolerance is low for relationships already and I don’t have time for someone that’s stuck on someone else and wasting my time.
If it’s nice screw it aha but if it’s an old Raggy I’ll happily replace it. I have $2k Prada shoes from an ex. My hubby doesn’t care. He was only wined and dined in his past so he doesn’t have nice things from Exs or he hasn’t told me lol
Don’t know if you’re talking about a male SO but if so then I think it’s safe to say he doesn’t think of the ex when he uses/wears/looks at that item 😂 men are practical beings and if something is functional and useful that’s all they care about!! Anything sentimental is a little different but I also don’t think you should have to erase the past to look to the future. It’s a part of them and a part of your story together, so what if someone else bought it 🤷🏼♀️
I've got a coat, a backpack and shoes that I still use that an ex bought me. They are expensive and I actually like them so I will not be getting rid of them. So if a dude I was dating had the same I wouldn't bother me. Now if anything was sentimental to them it would definitely bother me but if it's just another piece of their attire it's fine
