Setraline

Anyone on sertraline? How does it make you feel? How did it make you feel when you first started? They’ve prescribed it for me but apprehensive on starting antidepressants.

For me personally all it managed to do was give me anxiety, no help with the depression, it did give me heart palpitations, eye twitches and insomnia but I have many friends doing amazing on it and think of it as a God send so please give it a go to see but let your Dr know if you don't get on with it 💖

It worked for me. As I was on it just shy of 5 yrs before changing to a different one as they do stop after a little bit

Honestly it was the best decision I’ve made in pregnancy, I was previously on Prozac and it completely stopped working around 8 weeks. The only side effects I noticed were headaches in the first 2 weeks.

I was on them I didn’t think they helped atol.

For any antidepressants it can take a while (upto 6 weeks) to start taking effect. There can be a few side effects to watch out for, but I've heard lots of positives about it once it's in your system properly. If after 6 weeks you don't feel different, go back to the Doctors for something else x

Didn’t help me at allllll. Literally noticed no difference

It was life changing for me! You have to wait a couple months before you get the full effects and if the lower dose is not working then you can increase your dose. For me personally it took away my irrational thinking and anxious thoughts and helped me to just feel calmer x

Ahh! Mixed review haha thank you so much ladies! I also heard it can cause weight gain? Did any of you gain/lose weight on it? X

I’ve lost 4 stone since having my baby but I’ve been trying ! X

But sertraline hasn’t slowed it down or anything x

Sweaty sweaty sweaty and more sweaty. And I’m still a raging bitch. LOL when I reported all that back my psych said it sounds like it’s working. Next appointment I’m having my partner come in and having him give her a first hand account of what existing near me is like.
