Am I the problem ?

Okay so I co parent w/ my son‘s dad, he called this morning saying that his sister who lives out of town and has never met our 3yr old son would be coming to get him instead of him coming she’s just in town for the weekend so I told him that he just needed to pick him up because I wasn’t sure how our son would react or if he’d be comfortable or if he remembered her from FaceTime or anything so he gets mad at me tells me my son doesn’t run anything he’s a kid and he’ll be fine with his family and that it’s all love blah blah, and tells me to get with the program and hung up the phone on me. He ended up just picking him up himself because I didn’t pick up the phone when his sister called me, I know I was childish for not answering her phone call but I just kinda needed a second ! But what do you guys think? I just don’t like making my kid uncomfortable unecessarily, I know his sister but my son doesn’t and I was going to just volunteer to drop him off but he hung up

You did the right thing because she’s technically a stranger. I wouldn’t have let her pick my child up alone and they’ve never officially met or spent time together…

Thanks for responding ladies! now he’s being super childish he pays daycare for our son and sent me a short payment and is ignoring my texts asking about the rest of the money, sent our son home without his hat and now he’s sniffling, it’s just so draining, I’ve been letting a lot of things just go unsaid bc I know how petty he can be and now he’s acting like I’m the problem like even if he doesn’t agree w/ me saying no I would think he could simply understand my pov and just come get his son like he did anyway! It’s not like I said I didn’t want him around his aunt or something he still got to see her ! And I’ve seen my son fall out bc we were both getting in the car w/ somebody but I had to leave him in with the person while I ran back in the house to get something so I know how he is and it’s a friend of mine who he sees a couple times a month so idk I’m just drained and now going to be losing money on daycare bc I guess he’ll just start sending what he wants
