Traveling with breast milk

My daughter is 2.5 months old and we’re traveling to Europe for the holidays. Any tips on what I should bring to make the flight easier? also am I allowed to travel with breast milk?

Yes you are allowed to travel with breastmilk and it isn't limited to the normal liquid limits, but it may go through an extra screening (it is listed on the tsa website). Maybe ask for a bassinet for on the plane? I've heard that some airlines will provide them if asked ahead of time.

I suggest two things a baby carrier and a travel pillow

I used boppy nursing pillow to go . I asked for the bassinet but didn't receive one . My baby slept on the pillow and I held her basically the whole time wer had two long flights Denver to Tokyo 12 h then Tokyo to Cebu 5 hours . Maybe some teething pills to help calm her I use Dr browner or nuby u can find them on Amazon or possibly target

@CiCi that’s good to know thank you! I’m flying with Delta I’ll call and ask about the bassinet that would be super helpful

@Ariana Saul I didn’t think of the travel pillow thanks! She started giving teething hints a couple days ago so I’m definitely gonna give her some Tylenol before the trip. Our flight is about 8 hours from Boston to Paris

As far as the breast milk they don’t have many restrictions on it if you bring it frozen!!! They won’t check or open frozen breast milk to my knowledge and experience. I would just eesearch about what to carry it in tho

Nursing at takeoff and landing really helps with their ears as well (similar to the yawning trick)
