Christmas dinner is going to be a nightmare

Right, don’t laugh, I know this is ridiculous. But. I’ve just had such a disastrous roast dinner with my 2yo. We probably only have a roast once a month and he’s not really a fan tbh, eats the meat and leaves literally everything else but I like to keep trying. So I did sausages tonight - the kid LOVES sausages, but that’s the problem. He ate his two, then spent the rest of the meal screaming because he couldn’t have mine or his dads. The whole plate of veggies and potatoes and Yorkshire is untouched, we’ve ended the meal with none of us speaking and all my toddler has eaten is two sausages. I was going to adapt his Christmas dinner anyway - sausages, alpha bites and carrots in the hope he’d eat it but honestly if he’s going to have a meltdown when the sausages are gone I’m tempted to serve none at all! Why can’t anything be simple!!!

cook extra sausages xx

I was going to say the same as above, I would just make a lot of sausages and give him extra, and eat yours quick before he’s finished his lol x

lol god I know it sounds stupid, just wish the kid would eat a vegetable instead of inhaling sausages and nothing else 😂 needs must, I suppose

Give him more sausages

Eat yours first then just have veg on your plate, give him extra maybe even use a bribe and say you can have more sausages if you eat your carrots 😅🍲✨
