Walking in the night?

My little girl is just over 9 months now she’s slept through the night really well from a young age. But all of a sudden she’s been waking up about 11pm ish and 3am ish crying hysterical! I pick her up & soothe her she still has eyes shut but as soon as I put her back in crib she cry’s again until I’ve held her for easily 15/20 mins! Anyone else had same things or know why she’s suddenly stated doing this?

Regressions can happen even to champion sleepers. It's unlikely you're doing anything wrong. If your routine has been mostly working, stick to it, the regression will pass. They could be teething, working on developmental milestones, growth spurts, many things. I think we went through a bit of a regression at that age. It's trying because they tend to stay awake a lot longer than they did as newborns. The key I find with regressions is to stick to your routine as much as possible. Obviously, if naps need adjusting or something, then you can try it, but I mean don't do things like get up with them to play or watch tv, or go for a drive, things you wouldn't normally do. Those things can become habit and association. Just stick to your guns. Comfort as needed. I know it's hard, but it should pass!
