This stage is hard

Controversial opinion but I find the 3-6 month stage harder than the newborn in lots of ways. Lots of smiles and joy but also … Clingyness, fussyness, immunisations, possibly early teething, rolling and sleep regressions. Trying to get them to nap several times a day. Most partners are back to work and so flying solo. Managing a toddler as well. I much prefer when they can sit, have a couple of long naps a day and you can throw them a snack to keep them happy 😂 On the struggle bus. But trying not to wish the precious time away. Anyone else feel this way?

I get this…first baby and she’s just turned 3 months, but I’m struggling with her frustrations when she can’t do something…she wants to be sat up but can’t sit up properly yet, but doesn’t want to be held and doesn’t want to be laid down 😩

I agree. I forgot between my first and second but especially the sleep regression is soooo painful for all. And having a toddler in the mix means getting good naps in the day longer than 40 mins/ sticking to wake windows seems impossible.

@Marianne yes totally! My little girl only cat naps and I don’t have time to work on longer naps with my toddler also around and trashing the house 😂🙏 just hoping she learns on her own one day!
