Any food that isn't your milk/ formula milk is a solid😊😊

What Shauna said, but if you need guidance and ideas on introducing different foods and allergens to your baby for a successful weaning journey, I highly recommend the Solid Starts app. The main content is free

Thanks guys, i know they have to have less bottles but what do you give them instead to drink?

Our little girl has a cup of water with her 3 meals a day

They should naturally drop the bottles or volume of milk. it depends on how much solid food goes in. Some babies play and practice skills like picking up spoon etc and refuse to be fed. Nothing wrong with that, but not all babies get a lot of food in their tummy. When they start to, they will naturally reduce milk. Don't take away bottles unless they give you their cue. Milk should still be the main nutrition before 1 year old. During, after meals and through the day you can offer sips of water and start teaching them how to use sippy cups or age appropriate straw bottles

My boy naturally has dropped from 5 7oz bottles to 3. He is however on 3 solid meals a day- he eats whatever I eat

Offer water with meals. If they're struggling to drink water you could some slice cucumber or other fruit to add a little flavour to encourage water drinking. But like others have said don't drop milk until your baby shows they're ready
