Diaper changes at daycare
My Son is uncircumcised and just started daycare last monday. I never would have thought the daycare would try to pull his foreskin back to change his diaper but it looks like they did. It's been the whole weekend and he is still flinching and saying it hurts sometimes when I wipe him. It's red and it's not really swollen anymore but it looks differant now like stretched out. I'm about to not even take him into daycare tomorrow and take him to the dr instead. I'm concerned because why would they do that? This is supposed to be a good a daycare they should know not to do that. and when I saw the teacher change him she didn't even wipe him at all. Would anyone else be concerned? I have not wiped him before for pee diapers and it never looks like this. He also had a scrape on his head the second day they told me about and the last day he had a light bruise on his forehead, and small bruise on his arm. I never wanted him at care so idk. And I see one of the teachers pull the other kids around by the hand on the camera. I ask him how his day was and he just doesn't say anything but he happily ran right in everyday last week.
That’s tough. Sometimes it’s hard to know what’s going on. Are you sure they pulled the skin? Just asking because my son is also uncircumcised and pulls on it a lot. It never got painful but I could see that happening. Bumps and scrapes are pretty common but typically if the child cried or it was caused by another student our daycare always let’s us know.
