Change of movement - worried about fetal distress due to moving too much

Just wondering if I should be going to the assessment unit for this? Baby girl moved a lot yesterday in the space of 10 minutes after I had a big cry. Feeling overwhelmed. Not sure if I have caused her any distress from my crying. It
Honestly felt like she wanted to get out ASAP. She normally moves but not as much as this. I know midwives say to go if there’s any change in movement but is this just if it’s reduced?

When I was stressed the other week my baby was going crazy. I looked it up and it said they tend to have increased movements if you're stressed, so I wonder if this is similar?

You can always call triage and see what they say.

thank you. I had horrible intrusive thoughts that just made me sob, genuinely felt like I was grieving someone 🙈 the joys!!!

I've had some emotional roller coasters during pregnancy. The midwife i have says some stress is good for the baby and not to worry, they are robust.

Main thing is if your OK now and then baby will return to normal movements . If in doubt though call triage.

I'm now 34 weeks and baby feels vacuum packed and constantly trying to escape x

This happened to me yesterday and I went triage. She was moving so much it was actually causing me pain but they didn't seem concerned. Seem like it's a concern only when movements reduced a lot.

Frantic movements are a sign of distress and should be checked straight away just as reduced movements should be. If she's back to usual movements again now I probably wouldn't worry with it being yesterday, but if it happens again go straight to triage x

Cortisol will get them active, so it's likely if you were feeling quite anxious, this may have been the cause. But worth having a chat with your midwife anyway.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
